Recently I had the great opportunity to design for Oaklandish. Not really knowing what I should design for the Oakland, California based company, I thought about what would best represent one of Oakland’s oldest natives, the deer, while still including the Oaklandish trademark.
I soon came up with the idea of forming the deer antlers into the Oakland oak tree symbol, while still sneaking in a few symbols that represent myself and my Ontask Family. If you look closely in the photos you can find my initials and a “OT” at the base of the tree trunk.

You will be seeing more of Ontask and Oaklandish. Maybe even some “Ontask” shirts coming into the light real soon, but I won’t spoil the surprise.
